Implants

Implants are titanium fixtures which are placed into the jaw bone where natural teeth have been lost.

When the bone grows around the implant, a process known as osseo-intergration, the implant can be used to support a crown, a bridge or denture to replace missing teeth.

Whilst implant therapy is now common place, it is a procedure which requires careful planning to ensure long term success. Dentists @ Pymble only use a small number of highly skilled and experienced specialists to place implants. Implants should be considered as part of an overall Dental health plan.
